But for now, please follow the instructions below and leave a memory! I emphasize that even if you don't know me well or think it's a stupid memory or whatever, share it anyway!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. Thanks ya'll! Love ya!

The night with the baseball bat will forever hold a special place in my heart! I also remember leaving a wedding reception early to go to a movie. I will never forget the times shared while we lived together. All the dinners, late night talks, games played, and massive bugs killed (but that was all Jessica). You did so much for my family then and I will never forget it. I know Ben has some good memories of playing ninja turtles and shooting his GI Joes as well as good times spent together as adults (or at least bigger boys). We love you Steve and your little family!

I have lots of good memories of you and Jessica! Somehow Jessica and I end up separate from everyone now and again (like when we went to go feed her aunt's dog and when everyone but us was braving the cold to build Candice's swing set) and we always have a good time then... talking or playing pool or what have you.

Chatting about books is another favorite!

Playing games is another fun memory with you guys! You always find the funnest new games!

In general, all the memories of just hanging out and trying to figure out where your movie quotes come from is a pretty good time!

Love you guys!

Steve, if I put all the memories I have of you on here it would take me all night! You were the only accident prone child I had. The others had an occassional accident, but I get mixed up sometimes with what happened to who. But with your accidents, I know exactly who they happened to!! Let's see, were there two broken arms and one broken leg, a cut on your hand or finger (I decided not to go for stitches - did it happen with the blender?), the time Tara's bike got destroyed - but I think you were fine, and the knee injury when you were in junior high that still bothers you. So I remember time in the hospital worried sick that my little boy would think his mother had abandoned him and hating that I couldn't do anything about the pain. I cried a lot through that experience. I remember being asked all the questions they ask abusive parents by a girl I graduated from high school with - when you got your second broken arm.

Other than that, though, you were an incredibly happy child. You were always smiling. You loved to tease and you had a LOT of energy. Even in the hospital - after the first day was over and the pain had subsided a bit and your leg wasn't jumping so much - you managed to be cheerful for most of the time. When you were up and about again, you would run up to me at random moments and tell me something quick with a big smile and then run off again. Happy times! I miss that!

When you got a little older, you started making up stories. You'd tell me the most outrageous stories. Quite an imagination!!

I remember you coming home from school when you were learning Spanish and telling me whole paragraphs of information I didn't understand.

I remember crying - again - when we took you to the MTC. And I remember our drive home from Oklahoma when Dad fell off the seat! I don't think I'd laughed that hard in twenty years!! And then the road was closed at the dam because of a car accident! Good times!!

I remember you trying to ease my mind when you decided so quickly to ask a young woman to marry you!

I remember seeing you hold your son when he was tiny. Joy! I remember watching you play with him many times since. Joy!Joy!

And speaking of that incredible young woman you asked to marry you --- I remember so many fun times. Jessica - your quick humor makes games and playing with kids, and just talking more fun! I remember playing with Kaleb in his bedroom with both of us on the floor - trying to put things away faster than he could take them out - or trying to put everything away because everyone had been there!

A real favorite recent memory with you, Jess, was the making of the Christmas mice! That was so much fun - and watching the creative ways people ate them was fun too! We definitely have to have a goodie making day together next holiday season!

I remember lots of times at your kitchen table just visiting while Kaleb ate his breakfast. And I remember doing dishes together and giving Steve a hard time. Why is that so fun I wonder?

Anyway - I have had some great memories with both of you and I know we'll continue to have good times together because you are two of the happiest people I know, so you are fun to be with!! Love ya!!

Steve...Steve...Steve...so many memories so little time. When I think of our younger years, the first thing that comes to mind is the high pitched giggle you had before your voice changed. You were always giggling, whether you were throwing your toys around with Ben or being chased by Cari and Laura. (The giggle usually changed to a very similar sounding high-pitched cry when Laura and Cari actually got a hold of your hair, however.) And who can forget your dramatic thumps down to the floor after Mom would spank you (accompanied by afore-mentioned cry), and all those broken wooden spoons? I also remember great times copying off of you in Spanish class, and the feeling of commraderie we had when we were finally the masters of the house. I also remember the imaginitve stories Mom was talking about, which isn't too hard because don't you still tell them? Ü I love playing games with you and Jess. Something I think about with Jess is how good she is at sharing something funny a small child has done/said. I always try to tell everyone things that my kids have said, but it doesn't sound funny because I don't remember exactly how they said it. Jess is really good at that. You guys are so much fun. I love you!

Well... To represent "The brats" Haha, That's one of my favorite memories in and of itself! Haha, JK ...

So I remember when we used to play gladiators in Mom and Dad's living room! I was ice because nobody could ever hold onto me long enough to stop me from getting to the other side...

Another memory I have is of that old house that you and ben would set your "guys" up on, and we'd shoot them with rubber bands! We were AMAZING at that! :)

I also remember a certain time (bringing in part of what Candice mentioned) when we all got in trouble and we were a little older by then, so Mom "just messing around" and kinda curious lined us all up to spank us with her favorite wooden spoon EVER!! Because it was SO strong, and she KNEW that you wouldn't be able to break it! Bah ha ha... Little did she know! I wonder how the bamboo pampered chef ones would hold up to you! That poor spoon never saw it comin'... Needless to say all of us were "off the hook" after that, and laughing HYSTERICALLY might I add!

Hmmm... I also have MANY fun memories of playing games with you and Jess, and my new memory now of going to the parade in Park City with you and the Lemmons. Lots of Good Times!

I'm sure there will be more to come, especially now that we're livin under the same roof! Muah ha haha...

Thanks for being such a fun big brother, and for always being such a good example to me!
